Glad to see 65daysofstatic mentioned. I heard a demo of theirs a while ago and saw them live once or twice. Nice chaps trying something different. They play every month or so in and around Oxford (UK). Worth checking out.

i may have mentioned this before, but its really good, and actually out now. they definitely aren't a "genre" band, but they do a blinding blend of a post-rock and idm. soundwise they touch on alot of things, from very hushed to more frenetic. they should appeal to kids on this list who also dig GSYBE!, Mogwai etc...
